    I'm sharing one day in the life of a baker in London 2021 during the pandemic. In other words, myself! This is how my day looks like behind the scenes in a professional production kitchen as a baker.

    Whenever I say that i wake up at 4:30 am to go to work, people get quite excited and always ask the following questions: how do you do it? What time do you go to bed? Do you get enough of sleep? How do you go to work that early? Everything is much more easy than you can imagine, plus when you love what you do - is not a struggle at all.

look up malyali lachha parota. its like a layered flat bread, it tastes like croissants if you bake it. i've put apple sauce on it, butter, jam and had it with curries and hummus. much quicker to make at home.

hi, well it is not down to me to tell you unfortunately, there are official websites that guide you what and where to do. Regarding the bakeries, you go and do trials in places you like, then its up to you if you like and up the employer if they like you :)

I'm a baker as well but I start at 10pm and finish at 4am but I get a lot done in those hours. My job is half demanding, half easy going. I hate making croissants, luckily I only do them about once every 1-2 months.

Yes, if you do it in large scale it’s a bit hard physically to handle and afterwards the process is a bit long as well, but since bakeries have all necessary equipment it accelerates the whole process 😊

hey, thanks for you question, probably most bakers in the world start early, and there are different shifts such as 'night baking' so customers get the best quality. To be honest i don't even imagine coming later that 6am, would be kind of weird. 😃 but the earlier we finish our production for the day - the better ☺️

I started with mate cocido as mate yerba was a bit too strong for me but eventually I switched :) Now I drink mate every single day, I got so used to it, love it 🧉🧡

es una experiencia increíble! me encanta Londres - hay muchos muchos lugares interesantes y esa panaderia en que trabajo ahora es buenisima tambien. De todos modos, es posible combinar tu trabajo y la vida privada, tienes que hacer lo que te gusta, de lo contrario es muy dificil solamente trabajar tus horas e ir a la cama sin alegria en la vida 😊gracias!

@Kris Kazlauskaite I mean I have done an internship at bakery in a hotel called Ramada of Wyndham group for three months and I won't say I know a lot but I got a grasp on toast breads, multigrain breads, and basic sponges needed in large scale baking and basic lining of cakes and I don't know if people would take me in on knowing that but i do want to work and I am very much passionate to know more about breads I mean it is fascinating. Hope I don't sound creepy 😂

Hi May! We actually don’t have a day at the bakery without using gloves, plus before we start or finish any job we wash our hands. I cannot even count how many times per day we wash our hands. So food is protected, I guarantee ☺️

Hello and congrats from an italian baker :) Very nice video and quality of the goods ;D I see you, definitly.. i had different routines in my experience, working from Italy, to Hungary and Estonia..and Spain. Sometimes waking up at 5,20 am.. sometimes at 2 am! (which i didnt like) and yeh its an hard job. Passion win on the exhausting part of the job. Good luck

Being a chef and having friends bakers I deeply respect all your work and amazing attitude. Not many people are able to see what is behind and specially who is behind what they eat. A pan au chocolate is not just a picture on a fancy Instagram profile. But even a person working 10 15 hours a day to prepare the dough, laminate, shape and bake it.
