@Andy Miller You can get an easy cozy ride by riding inside the middle or at the back of a large peloton. It’s lead out riders controlling the group at 55 km/hr that’s doing all of the hard work. Normally if you ride that hard alone or with a small group ride for a hour. You’ll be spent after an hour. If you’re not a pro world tour rider.

Yesterday they were leaving from near Rimini down the east coast tomorrow departing from San Remo not that far from the French border, this Giro is hypersonic!

And this after starting in Hungary and beaming down to Sicily. Quite a travel plan they have in the giro. I bet a lot of riders are annoyed by it.

That’s a nice little city. I spent quite some holidays near Imperia (east of San Remo). Cycling there is super nice.
