Glitter is bad for the enviroment because you wash the glitter on your hands into the drain it goes to the sea fish see it sparkling eat it because their prey is shiny and the glitter goes into their body tissues and what ever eats the fish eats the glitter and it might be you who eats the glitter and don't worry there are loads of sparkly non glitter things you can put on your craft
