@John Tomasik to me fast lap really means nothing with in a half seacond! Race craft mskes that up!! Sexton ways not in traffic and Anderson was coming through traffic!!

@EarthSurferUSA Just pointing out the facts.
Vor 3 MonateEarthSurferUSA
@John Tomasik As tight as a pro flat track race. I have seen laps this year where the top ten for all of their lap times was within .6 seconds range. That is a time difference between the racers (on the average), of only 6/100ths of a second. They all have the track wired.
Vor 3 MonateJohn Tomasik
Well, almost the fastest guy. Sexton had faster lap times than him with a 48.689 lap to Anderson's fastest of 48.867.

Very unlike Tomac to earn a good result on a night in which his speed wasn't quite 100%. If he continues with the consistency he's shown so far, he could win the title in a Dungey-esque manner, which I never expected to say regarding Eli.
Vor 3 Monateazerslay
True
Vor 3 MonateThomas Lopez
@John Tomasik eh, I think Tomac has shown that beast mode speed every once in a while since then, but it’s a lot more rare of an occurrence. He was extremely fast at Daytona last year, as well as Arlington 2 (even though he didn’t win, he was pressuring Webb all race and pulled away from Roczen).
Vor 3 MonateJohn Tomasik
@EarthSurferUSA The discussion is whether Tomac's 100% his speed now. It's all speculation. We do know that since he won that SX title, we haven't seen the consistent dominance he was once capable of. Logically, guys lose speed as they grow older. And, the flip side is that hasn't happened for Tomac, it's just that everyone else got faster. Since there's no way of really knowing, it's just talk either way.
Vor 3 MonateEarthSurferUSA
There are 2 things that are hard to do when everybody is the same speed. 1) gain positions. 2) lose positions.
Vor 3 MonateJohn Tomasik
Tomac's speed hasn't been quite 100% since Salt Lake in 2020. Ever think this might be Tomac's 100% speed?

@peanutjellyman facts...when the kawi hydro clutch gets overheated from abuse it will vent smoke from the oil vent tube .relocating the vent only stops blow by oil from dripping out not clutch smoke .simple fix is to go back to a cable clutch but i can't see kawi doing that.

Ferrandis is coming ! Go Dylan, the « old country » is behind you 👍🏻
Vor 3 MonateEarthSurferUSA
@John Tomasik It is not that they are too fast to catch. It is that the tracks will not let anybody go much faster, and the top 10 have it wired to less than 1 second a lap difference among the top ten. That means, if you are only .2 seconds a lap faster, it will take you 5 laps to just catch up to a guy 1 second in front of you, if you don't make any mistakes. You don't have to be the fastest to win the championship, (as 10 of them are like exactly the same speed on these tracks), you just have to get good starts and make fewer mistakes than the other guy. Basically, it comes down to who can stay away from boredom the most for 25 laps.
Vor 3 MonateJohn Tomasik
Been cheering for Ferrandis (no, I'm not from or living in France) to win a 450 SX since he got on the 450 last year. He really needs to fix those starts. The top guys are just too fast to catch from the back of the pack.

@claterr berseker This clown talking about 65cc racing 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 Never seen someone’s ego so fragile they list every single childhood achievement they amassed, then compared it to professional 450 racing, or even club level 250 racing 🤡 Like I said, spud. Maybe club racing is different where you come from. We run entire seasons with full fields in every class.. so many 65cc’s out there it has to be split into A, B, C grade races just to fit them all on a gate. Congrats on winning those 65cc Friday night races though… solid. Definitely comparable to 450 club racing.. what did you say the turnout was? 10 bikes?
Vor 11 Tageclaterr berseker
@Aveeeeeee i lack any championship lmfao? I literally have a 65cc number one plate in open 11 year old from mini o’s, have a third place trophy from mammoth, have probably 60 plaques from just local friday night races… Rode for orange brigade ktm on the 65 and for a year on the 85 before i stopped riding for a year due to injury… And i don’t have to prove shit to y’all, but if u want i’ll post a short of all my pictures in my box in the garage of me on the podiums, me with my number one plate from mini o’s, and my 3 boxes of trophy’s and plaques… Just cause i don’t have videos on here doesn’t mean i don’t have them on my social media lmfao, this dude Sam Black is like 30 btw and probably races the vet class talking about CLuB ChamPiOnShiPs which basically just means he won a series at his local track against like 10 guys and maybe only a couple of guys who were regulars lmao. Not to mention i don’t see any videos of you? And being cocky?! You mean just saying it how it is, this dude acting like his club championships make him a racer, I went around the fukn country with my grandpa for a whole summer and was homeschooled in the winter… D rider my ass btw, pro license and if i went back to a nationals race i would be a B class rider still. Not to mention i do think i have some videos on this account they’re just unlisted, back when i rode the 85cc so let me go check you fukn pleb, or u can just go see my instagram… Got pics from my 85 days on there since i didn’t get a phone till i was 14, anyways i got some gopros on there and some good ol’ orange brigade pics from my glory days on the minis.

@claterr berseker Didn’t RV retire after getting humiliated in MXGP and coming to the realisation that AMA MX isn’t a world title and he wasn’t a world level rider?
Vor 3 Monateclaterr berseker
@MX MIKE it’s more than just that, Tomac had so many problems with upper management… The first year Webb won his chip was the year Tomac was like on strike with Kawi, and then a week later the guy he had issues with (RV’s old machanic now team manager) literally left and retired lol. If they can burn out RV i can only imagine what they expected from a dominant Tomac. It’s crazy Mitch Payton and all those guys are even still there, they find fast riders and suck the life outta them and then get mad when they lose for 4 years straight till they find a replacement. RV has said indirectly that he was not having fun because of the guys at Kawi, and that’s why he went to Yamaha to be an ambassador and still keep ties with monster energy.. I honestly think Tomac wanted a team that just didn’t care about winning more than what he can do at the time, and he can keep his sponsors with like Oakley, ME, and A stars. Vs. Kawi who wanted him to probably win even the nights he got a 2nd or even 3rd place finish. PS. Wheelchair Mitch is a pos also, doesn’t help as much as they say they help their privateer riders. I’ve had springs break no replacement, had the carbon tip on PC exhaust fall off no replacement. All because of their shitty manufacturing also, everything was torqued correctly lol.
Vor 3 MonateMX MIKE
@soulful terrain thats interesting, I didnt know it was a suspension issue. Were they not listening to Tomac ?
Vor 3 Monatesoulful terrain
May be if the "powers that be" at Kawasaki would listen to the riders that actually race their bikes, there wouldn't be so many failures. Constant bickering over suspension issues was the real reason why Tomac left Kawasaki. When Davi Millsaps left Kawasaki he said, " Man, I don't know what's going on with this team."

Anderson awesome, chase such a beautiful riding style, roczen bad luck and cooper webb will probably win the championship again with this inconsistent riding of his opponents.
Vor 3 MonateSam Black
@Kyle Goodman Of course it’s a world title, it’s where the best in the world compete and it’s recognised as such by the FIM. Europe is a breeding ground for world level riders on both bitumen and dirt. I’m not from Europe, so I’m not pumping up the riders because I come from there, they’re just crazy about the sport and it creates higher level competition. They don’t race SX in Europe, if they did, they would dominate that as well. They can certainly decide where they race.. Webb could head over to Europe, but that would be humiliating for him. Ask RV, who was FAR more talented than Webb. Yes kind of similar, if Herlings were shorter, skinnier, and had a face that looked like a smacked ass.
Vor 3 MonateKyle Goodman
@Sam Black First off, they can't control where they race. Second, a win is a win, regardless of where and how it happens, and Herlings didn't crash out. Also let's be real, the MXGP title isn't really a world championship. Its just a European championship. Its filled with talent to be sure, but it's not really a world championship. I'll give you Webb hasn't been a great outdoors rider, but who can fault him for becoming a great supercross specialist? That's where the money is. You clearly don't understand the joke in my comment. It has nothing to do with their riding skill, I believe at the end of the day Jeff is a better rider. The joke was that they look similar physically.
Vor 3 MonateSam Black
@Kyle Goodman In America, home track for cooper, Herlings never ridden it, he still won the overall with a 1-3… tell the whole story, kiddo. How have their careers gone since? Herlings winning multiple WORLD titles, Cooper floundering around in American nationals getting obliterated by rookies.

@EarthSurferUSA even if what you say about Matthes were true (it is not) SO WHAT. I could care less about what he has to say. He gets great guests and riders come on and discuss interesting things. And riders talk to Matthes differently from others in the media. Listen to the PulpCasts. Riders do not talk in the same informal manner to others in the media. Even the SwapMoto interview are not as good, not as candid. That means Matthes does his job, whether I or you agree his views or not. Again...who cares. He is a bit like Howard Stern in that he gets good content from those he interviews. I doubt you are sophisticated or intelligent enough to understand this.

Eli and Adam should have left that Kawasaki team as soon as they did not let our 2 national champs race the MXofN a few years back. Are you from Turkey? You should figure out why you can't afford a new bike.

Can't believe the Kawasaki died on Anderson, that never happened when Tomac was on it....... weird.....
Vor 3 Monateactionsportster
Yep. Tomac saying early on that he was going to Star Yamaha because he believed that team would give him the best chance to win a Championship was probably not lost on Team Green when Tomac went by Anderson's smoking bike.

I can't believe how fast Anderson is on the Kawi. But his luck is really bad. Poor guy.
Vor 3 MonateJohnny Jarrett
2017 Tomac wins the Championship if not for a mechanical.....they don't do well in the mud either..
Vor 3 MonateDB198
I never understood throwing your bike after a win (or even if it breaks) this machine just got you a win your mechanic and everyone puts so much work into that bike why throw your bike like it's a piece of garbage?
Vor 3 MonateTell it As I see it
@Kane Carter nothing to cry about. Just shows how much a person disrespects the work of a good mechanic and shows how inconsiderate one human is to another. It's selfish, inconsiderate and shows that a rider is only thinking of himself in that moment. Look at me I won a race and to get some attention I'm going to toss my bike and prove what a selfish inconsiderate asswipe I am. The core of all assholes is exactly what your comment is, I'm selfish and the only thing that matters is me.
Vor 3 MonateKane Carter
@Tell it As I see it Go cry. They are factory bikes. Nobody's worried about the parts. Enjoy the show

They are factory bikes. They aren't worried about some broken parts

@EarthSurferUSA ya is what it is guys are excited or just overwhelmed and it happens I'm a big fan of Hunter Lawrence think he is wise beyond his years but even he did it lastlet the bike flip off the finish🤦 but something I wouldn't do but my bike brings me so much happiness I couldn't do it even though I beat it to death ! I've seen guys crash this year and walk away and leave the bike laying on the track, Max Vohlands bike broke and he just kept pushing it to the pits and didn't just toss it on the ground like u see a lot of guys do!!! think it says a lot about a guy when he does something like that!!
Vor 3 MonateEarthSurferUSA
I guess it is suppose to be cool from the answers you got. But I don't think Mr. Honda would have approved if he were still alive. I, the only one here,---agrees with you, and I am proud of it. :)

I expect Adam C. To be looking for another job after this season, if not we know he’s pretty boy favorite. No one deserves anything, you have to earn it! If you’re not healthy than sit out and get healthy don’t lead us to believe you can still be competitive if you can’t

TOMAC 👍👍👍👊👊 congrats buddy

That is not what happened with Bogle and Barcia. Barcia cleaned out Bogle earlier with a dirty takeout. What Bogle did was payback.
Vor 3 MonateBrandon Wright
@Sam Black 3 months later and he did it again to Malcom
Vor 11 TageSam Black
@Buffekerel Barcia knows he’s going to finish 10th in the title, other riders have aspirations of winning and don’t want Barcia to take them out as they go past him, like he did to Anderson. The AMA needs to get control of that clown, it shouldn’t be expected that one rider in the field will take you out if you’re near them on track. That’s not racing.
Vor 3 Monategreg mulfort
Bogle talked about it after race with swap and pulp too. I'm not saying Barcia didn't deserve it, he did. I'm just saying. It wasn't him stalling that was Barcia getting some of his own medicine, people need to be doing that to him.

Not a massive Anderson fan (I don't dislike him, I'm just not going to be cheering him on). That being said,he's been riding really well these first few rounds,he looks comfortable on the Kawi, unfortunately he was a victim of a mechanical that Tomac was all to familiar with during his time at kawi. The KX450F seems to have had the smoking problem too regularly over the years, and it's a shame. I truly believe he could have latched onto the back of Sexton. Tomac looked better than he has done, but still doesn't look to be at his best. It's going to be a real interesting season I believe!
Vor 3 MonateEarthSurferUSA
To me, an old MX guy from back in the days when we dominated the world for 13 years straight, these tracks that keep everybody the same speed are like those old vibrating football table games, where the players just vibrated around on the cardboard ice with one getting lucky to cross into the end zone first. I really have no interest is seeing the tracks keep everybody at a fast average, where nobody can develop better talent. If you have seen one rhythm section, (that controls speed like a pissed off cop), you have seen every race since the FIM invaded our sport.
Vor 3 Monatebermwarfare1
Another classic case of junk 4 stroke you cant trust for Andersen. Nowheres close to the reliability of a 2 stroke! Better do better Kawasaki!he’s fast enough to blow them up every race!
Vor 3 MonateBlackSn0wz
@EarthSurferUSA never said I liked them lol, I was just pointing out Kawasaki as being the common denominator for mechanical failures. 4 strokes have definitely made the cost of racing inaccessible for most, not gonna argue that. I don't like the sound either. I'd like to see some form of 2 stroke racing at the top level, not sure what happened to the 125 races they were doing in the outdoors, those were kinda cool.
Vor 3 MonateEarthSurferUSA
@BlackSn0wz Yea, they do alright,---except for sales. Nobody races in my area anymore, and there used to be dozens of us with 8 different track I could ride on anytime I wanted. That is OK though. I can't stand the sound of a dirt bike that sounds like a fat lady farting.
Vor 3 MonateBlackSn0wz
well the other 4 strokes seem to do alright, Kawasaki has a history of reliability issues
Vor 3 MonateDave Halcomb
250 2 stroke would be a proper ride

@Tell it As I see it Ricky has a wealth of knowledge in his head so I love to hear what he has to say. I think the problem is they’re trying to use him as a play by play guy where he should be special comments. I would get rid of Daniel Blair, there is already a token female in the pits for that information. Have 3 in the booth, Ricky as special comments with two play by play guys working him into the conversation with things he’s had a second to construct in his head before speaking.
Vor 3 MonateTell it As I see it
@Sam Black yes I get that RC is in a bad situation with the Bogle takeout move. However he makes it seem as if he is certain of what happened. If your not sure, just say., I'm not sure what is going on there, we will need further information. Anyway it's not a big deal, live and learn.
Vor 3 MonateSam Black
@Tell it As I see it The commentators aren’t going to make negative proclamations live mid race on riders at the very back. Play it off, keep moving. Notice Ricky won’t say ‘that was a bad pass/take out’, he must be impartial in his commentary.
Vor 3 MonateSam Black
@Moody Shooty Your boy Barcia at it again. Shame it didn’t result in a career ending injury.
Vor 3 MonateMoody Shooty
@Tell it As I see it I think you need to learn the definition of accusation there, champ.

Vor 3 MonateAlex Gainey
These races are honestly getting boring… the leader usually takes off and doesn’t ever get ran down… miss the days of constant lead changes with bubba, reed, dungey
Vor 3 MonateSam Black
I agree. It’s a depth issue. Way worse in the 250 class where they split the good riders so they don’t race each other. Craig blitzing back to a podium shows how shallow the talent pool is.
