Jaylen has problems when concentrating on the rim too much. When he misses shots, very often they are short of the hitting the rim or grazing the rim. At times and for his entire career, including these playoffs, he misses tons of free throws exactly the same way. He really needs to improve the free throws at the least. It can be really frustrating watching him miss free throws in the last few minutes of close games.

If you're a Celtics fan Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum are like All-State. You can always count on one of them to play well.

Derrick White setting the tone for this team in games 4 and 5. He showed when matter the most. He's such a great thinker offensively quick on passes, great slasher, and a very pesky defender that loves to poke the ball and sturdy enough to bang with bigger guys. Such a luxury to have him off the bench even without Marcus Smart.

The X factor in this series is Robert Williams III. His size, athleticism and intimidation make all the difference. Not only does he defend from the foul line extended back to the front of the rim he changes shots, eliminates passing lanes and controls the boards - the only Celtic who can consistently dominate ABOVE the rim. Offensively not only is he a solid passer, his size creates space for Brown and Tatum plus he poses the lob threat. Marcus Smart as the playmaker ~ ball handler and defensive stud makes the Celtics that much tougher. It is still a best of seven series so the Celtics have to continue to focus.

Big Al has easily been the most consistent player in these playoffs for the Celts. I can't remember any game in which he wasn't great or at least very good. GREAT defense, nice rebounding, and even surprising scoring nights.

Shooting has been the heats weakness rn. No one can consistently knock down shots so the Celtic players just sag off in the pick and roll. That’s why they are able to play Al horford and Williams at the same time, which then leads to the paint being packed. This team isn’t the same offensively as they were in the bubble. Some of their lineups consist of 3 non shooters. Kyle Lowry has been horride from the 3 point line aswell.

Refs did everything they could to get Heat back in the game (8:24 is a brutal moving screen/body check by Bam as an example), but Celts were and clearly are the better team in this series. If not for a 36 hour turnaround after Game 7 vs. Bucks this would've been over in 5.

I can tell Lowry would be one of those guys in the locker room who helps guys stay level-headed, positive and all that. But it comes at the cost that you mentioned; the dude can't bring much to the offense and he's no point-god like an aging CP3. The Heat are gonna die by the long 3, you'll see. Three pointers🔥 dropped inside hoop, Tatum started to get hot with shots, and even though the 1st half was very ugly by Boston 👉they came out of their slump. Defensively it was tough noticing all of Celtics 😬weaknesses. But round of applause Green 🎉machine for regaining control in this matchup series. Miami had Vincent, Duncan Robinson, Tucker, Butler, and Bam Adebayo playing excellent at times. Even Caleb Martin did things I didn't quite expect on the Miami side. Sorry things couldn't go well for home team of South Beach. But truthfully📸 this victory makes me proud yet again for these very fantastic Boston Celtics players. People should cheer on Horford and Robert Williams more because they are a powerful duo on the front court too. One more win and Celtics could represent the East in 2022 Championship Finals. Boy would this be something if they somehow eventually meet Golden State.🙏

You would assume that if a team wasn't hitting 3's but had a great mid range game that they would instead do adjust the offense to mid range

Man as a Celtics fan I have a fantasy of how good this team would be if we had prime Rajon Rondo as PG with his ball handling, play making, and defense. Smart , brown, Tatum, and al or rob. Would be beastly. There are no Rondos tho anymore and wish someone dedicated to same skill set he was fun to watch

OMG! Heat are getting cold out there. Only made 7 out of 45 three pointer. Lowry is inefficient in this game. A PG with 0 assist in the game. While the celtics starting 5 are all positive with only 7 players in rotation (10 minutes and above). The heat needs to move the ball frequently, they only have 14 assist. Celtics are now one game away from finals or are we going to witness game 7?
