These young ladies are all very talented, but I must admit that I am partial to Laura Bretan and Amira Willighagen and have followed both of them since I first saw their initial auditions on AGT and Holland's Got Talent, respectively. Both have done wonderful concerts around the world and, IMO, Amira's in South Africa are particularly impressive!

@Robert Evers Laura was the best voice ever, she should won, by far. At this time the overall cultural level is very low at planetary scale. What do you expect from simpletons ?

Maybe you should know that Amira may not become an opera singer because her voice is too tinny and she lacks stamina. You should learn more about classical music before you write fanatic comments.

This is an aria very difficult to perform even for experienced opera singers. This is true opera voice !

@Paul Cladder First of all, Amira isn't an opera singer because she doesn't have the vocal power required and lacks stamina. She is a light classical music singer, a good one. The difference between opera and light classical music (operetta) is huge. A lot of people do not know those differences and confuse opera with opera because of similar vocal techniques. Before you make some statements it would be advisable to document yourself in order to avoid confusions and embarrassment. If you want to know who was the best female opera singer ever, you should look for her in opera golden age. She could be Virginia Zeani, Maria Callas, Joan Sutherland, or most recent Renee Fleming, Angela Gheorghiu ... and a lot more. According to your comment I can see you are just a fan who knows nothing about opera. Oh, by the way ... the only young voice capable to perform true hard opera is Laura Bretan's voice, but she ignores that treating her own voice with an unbelievable indifference.

You are the fanatic one because you do not want to accept or you are not able to see the mistakes made by your idol. Nobody is perfect. Would love to see a english subtitles on Viktoria's judges comments and her comments. She had them in stiches. And most the others are ready well established stars now. Jackie Evanko is a 8 time #1 multi Platinum album superstar. I've never seen this clip of Amira singing Ave Maria and she is probably one of the best voices ever heard and Laura Bretan is performing all over the world with top orchestras. Darcy Lynn is just WOW. Singing opera as a ventriloquist? At 12 yrs old? Phenomenal.

You know, to perform opera even a perfect singing technique is useless without a capable gifted voice ... a natural born voice. The only voice born for opera is Laura's. The only observation I would make to Laura is that after 2017 she completely stopped her vocal training. That's wrong ... big mistake ! To be honest, Amira has a very nice voice but it is too delicate for opera. Her voice fits perfectly with operetta and light classical music. I'd like to ask you how many types of soprano voices are in the world of opera, which type of soprano voice has Amira and which type of soprano voice has Laura ? Please try to answer my question.

@Armelle C. All the kids singing acceptable operatic arias before puberty have vocal training, all of them, Amira and Jackie included. Remember that both Amira's parents are musicians.

The most capable voice for opera was without a doubt Laura's voice, but back then she had no operatic vocal training and not recommended singing techniques. I follow Laura's progress long before AGT, and I could say that the golden buzzer performance was not quite as I expected. Simon Cowell realized what Laura's voice can do, and after that golden buzzer performance Laura started a short intensive proper vocal training and that was the reason why her voice "exploded" beginning with quarter finals. That phenomenal voice started to shine.

What about Amira Willighagen? She is younger, had no lessons and she is wonderful.

Opera is one of my favourite genres of music.

My god the young girl with the pink and white stripped jumper has a terrific voice and showed so much passion! They were all brilliant, what voices, I wish them all the very best.

Isn't it nice. Performers all over the world, bringing us all together with their beautiful voices. The other thing I like about these kids is they are all so polite. Ever see all the older people that tryout with such attitudes. The older contestants could learn something from them. I believe all of these kids just wanted to know if they liked them. You can see they worked hard to get there and it paid off.

Any child able to sing operatic arias correctly before puberty has vocal training, remember that. Amira's both parents are musicians, so ... I don't buy it. When she debuted at HGT Amira already knew many vocal techniques such as projecting the voice, which is impossible to learn without a very good vocal teacher. This technique is an old opera trick invented to make a voice "look" stronger than it is. About having "a huge powerful voice" ... yep ... she tricked you. I bet you didn't know about that. Unlike other children who have been gifted by nature with phenomenal native vocal capabilities that they now totally ignore (in fact is only one and I don't give names), Amira, even if she was gifted by nature with a nice vocal gift she fights hard to compensate and improve. I admire and respect Amira's determination. From the point of view of vocal performing, the world of classical music includes two main categories, light classical music (operetta) and heavy classical music that is opera. Of all these children, only one has a voice capable of performing pure opera, the rest have light operetta voices. That "views number" think is irrelevant, for me anyway, because I doubt that the vast majority of those who watched, liked and express their "expert" opinions everywhere have ever stepped through the entrance door of an opera house, and I bet they are also those the same who like only high notes, even yelled, and only kitty voices. Unfortunately, the people's cultural level, the musical one included, is in free fall at the planetary level.

Italian is one of the hardest languages to sing though, and they are all so young! 😭❣️

Pour moi c'est la petite Amira qui m'a le plus impressionné. Elle avait que 9 ans qund elle est passé a un incroyable talent en Hollande. Et a son premier passage elle a été aclamée par le publique quand elle a terminé de chanter. Ensuite on lui a demandé comment elle avais apris a chanter de cette façon. Elle a expliqué qu'elle avait un frère qui jouais du violon et qu'elle voulait aussi apprendre quelque chose d'aussi joli. Les juris lui on demandé si elle prenait des cours de chant et elle a expliqué que non et qu'elle avait écouté sur YouTube chanté des cantatrices et que ça lui avait plus et qu'elle trouvait ça très beau et elle a apri toute seul a chanter de la même façon. Les juris n'en croyait pas leur oreilles et on confirmé que c'était incroyable. Mais bon elle avait quand même le don en elle, car autrement on arrive pas a chanter de cette façon. Enfin bref elle a gagné bien sur. Aujourd'hui elle a 21 ans je crois et elle chante dans le monde entier et c'est devenu une très belle jeune fille...👏 Amira a èvidament pris des cours de chants car il faut continuer a faire évoluer ce don et elle a une voie superbe ... A very good list. I love about the young doing this music, is they are an entry to showing people how beautiful Opera can be. I mean my dad played Opera when I was growing up as a kid. I mainly liked the orchestrations the best, except the end of Madam Butterfly. Kids as I grew up and friends when older would laugh when listen to Classical. It did not stop me. Then 1999-2000 came Charlotte Church and loved her music. She showed how beautiful Opera singing can be. Since then have over 70 Opera albums. Now though sad is she decided a different style of singing that is not my cup of tea. Two years ago I found Amira and really enjoy her and see I still love her tons. All the others are great too. Look you get these judges and audiences, that seem to like rock, recognizing the beauty of Opera. It is nice to see that it is cool now to like this music. The order works for me, but everyone with different taste may twist the order and that is ok. Don't let a list choose the best. Listen and let your own ears choose.
