Quick PSA to anyone looking to buy the Nyko dock, DON’T. There’s quite a high chance that not only will it cause damages or stop it from charges, there’s a high possibility that it will brick your switch too, meaning it’s not playable. If you do have it, stop using it. A neat little portable dock is quite useless when it stops your switch from being borderline functional.

So I have that clear plastic case that you reviewed and I must have gotten a newer model of it or something but I love it. But it’s probably because my little brother throws it a lot...and mine fits in the dock and I can press the detach button but I really recommend it (sorry if your experience wasn’t the same I just like it and wanted to say something about it) 😁

As someone who just purchased a switch yesterday this video was really informative about what is out there, I had it playing in the background as I enjoyed playing Super smash bros ultimate for the first time. However I would like to point out that there is one major controller you left out that often gets overlooked by those that don't know the brand. 8BitDo has had switch support on their bluetooth controllers for a few years now. I have had the 8BitDo SF30 Pro for 3 years now, tried it as soon as I got my switch setup and it detects as a pro controller. The plastic on the controller feels the same as a snes/SFC controller, gives almost an authentic feel especially with the rubber start and select buttons. It's one of my go-to controllers for fighting games and platformer games, the d-pad on it has never once given me an issue and I have used this controller to the point that after 1 year of use the rubber on the analog sticks had rubbed away/torn off.

I can not recommend Skull and Co as a company... I recently bought 3 Switches, and I ordered 3 Grip/Max Carry Case on their website... I placed my order on December 9th, it's now Christmas Eve and my order is still in China... Plastered all over their website is 7-10 day shipping, but if you read the fine print, it says that it might take longer if it's not in stock at their US warehouse and it will have to be shipped direct from China... But my problem is that you have to seek that information out on your own, there was no warning when I placed my order that it wouldn't arrive in time for Christmas... The only way I found out that my stuff was still in China, is after waiting 10 days and my order hadn't arrived, so I found out when searching for answers... When it says the item is "In Stock" on their website, right next to where it says 7 day shipping, then of course I'm not expecting it to come from China 4 weeks later. I contacted Skull and Co and complained about this, but they were kinda rude about it and just referred me back to the fine print. I will never give this trash company any more of my money. I ended up having to buy other cases to protect my Switches until the Skull and Co package finally arrives... I bought the slightly larger of the TomToc cases that comes with a transparent grip for the Switch... At $20 each, these Grips/Cases cost half as much as the Skull and Co variants, and they're just as high quality... The TomToc grips aren't as versatile as the Skull and Co grips ability to change sizes, but they work good for us, so I will be paying the shipping cost to return the grips/cases that I bought from Skull and Co. Skull and Co is a shitty company.
