Another reason is because if u suffer with depression or anxiety taking care of a pet can be therapeutic and provide u with comfort and give u a reason to get up out of bed. Not to mention having a being to rant to or cry to is nice. U can cuddle them when ur sad and over all they are super beneficial to ur mental health!

I'm getting a pair in 2 weeks 💙 my mom and therapist recommended them cause they think it'll help me to have some furry companions again after my dog Rascal I had most of my life passed. I've had a couple pigs before and I already have everything lined up to bring my babies home.

I have autism, selective mutism, tourettes, severe anxiety, and ptsd so humans are hard for me but I'm very good with animals. I'm going to let mine pick me like I do with all my pets.

I’ve had quite a few pets and I do have to say Guinea Pigs are probably my favorite “small pet”. They are sweet and have such big personalities. Hearing their squeaks melts my heart still till this day. My first pet was a Guinea Pig named Bella and she lived for 8 years 💕 I truly feel blessed to have had her in my life she brought so much joy to my whole family. We still miss her till this day 🌷 if you’re considering getting one of these little friends you will not regret it 💙
