@Chippy Ancelotti needs to rotate them. Vinny is mostly pace and unless the pitch opens up,he'll have a hard time and sometimes all he does is run into the defenders . Rodrigo in the other hand has the Technical ability to get past defenders and the finish. We knew he was something when he debuted in the CL with a hat trick. Unfortunately he might get sold.

I know that Rodrygo’s goal will steal the spotlight, but let’s talk about Camavinga playing out of position at LB and bossing it. He was amazing there, tireless/brimming with energy and put in a fantastic display.

Rodrygo's goal was insane. him and Vinicius have really turned into great players. i'm glad Madrid is buying young players and letting them grow within the team. it's better than paying 100+ million for established stars that may or may not fit into the team. Vinicius, Rodrygo, Camavinga, & Tchouameni have all come in and done well and improved. the future of the team is secure.

@Ryukobestwaifu it was 80 million and the only reason the price got that high was because PSG were trying to steal him and drove the price up. otherwise it would've been 60-70 million. and we got camavinga for 30 million so it balances out. between the 4 players i listed, it's an average of 55-60 million each which is pretty cheap by today's standards.

Camavinga was spectacular. Even out of position as a left back. Militao was impressive not just defensively, but he contributed offensively as a CB. The amount of runs he made in the right flank and the middle were incredible. Rodrigo is just clutch. Now with Vini. The guy is talented and a good player no doubt about it. But he lets his emotions get the best of him to the point that defenders and other fans know how to get into his skin. He also needs to fix those extra touches like in 4:03. I'm sure those things will come with experience, but they won't fix themselves I hope Ancelotti talks with him. All in all it's typical Madrid. They're in crises in January every year and all of a sudden they bounce back.

@Skar exactly what I was thinking about when hazard came up. He would’ve killed it as a CAM. So far Vini is overrated, since he can’t cross with left foot, he tries to get into the box and then either try to shoot it or passes with right foot. And if hazard was at his prime til this day, we wouldn’t be struggling with a faulty Vini and he, for sure, would’ve given amazing crosses with his left foot. I love Vini, he’s just too problematic now when it comes to unnecessary fouls.

@SyreFC You’re right. I feel like ancelotti really hasn’t given hazard a chance to prove himself. He could have been such a big player for the team and he had the potential to be one of the best if not the best in the team and it’s sad because even if he gives it his best now, he’s already older and he will just keep on getting older decreasing his ability to prove himself. I would have put my trust on him since the beginning and play him over vini jr. hazard was far the better player. Vinicius jr has definitely been a big factor in our teams recent success but In my honest opinion I believe he is also a bit overrated. Can’t even use his left foot to cross a ball. Valverde started as a defender and he’s played almost every position, his real position where he shines is as a cm. This team just has too many things that need change. Only thing holding us from not falling down is that we are a really good team.

@Skar couldn’t agree more with your posts. We have to step up our game and not just go for midfielders. We do need RB and LB. I heard a rumor that Madrid wanted Canceló and tbh, I would be happy if they brought him since he can play both positions. We need a really good replacement for benzema and it’s gotta be soon. We have our flaws but sometimes those same flaws makes us wonder if we made good decisions having those players on the pitch. I’m a fan of hazard and I know well enough he has lost his form, but I still believe he can do something about it. The way Ancelotti’s tactic work, it does not give the players confidence. Look at Valverde, he plays better in CM, Hazard would’ve been lethal as a CAM but Ancelotti had other plans for a False 9 formation. We don’t have Casemiro anymore, time to change formation.

The only reason we are still a good team and we did so good last season was because of our great midfield with modric, kroos and casemiro. Also with benzema really stepping it up. But this era of our world class players is finally coming to an end. Kroos, modric and benzema are close to seeing retirement even tough they are still class. Sooner or later we better start rebuilding the team like we did when we bought our past legends.

We have no good LB and RB. Carvajal is old and mendy isn’t even that good. He fits the cb role better. Ancelotti needs to stop experimenting and sign some good players that can play our missing positions. Like cmon putting camavinga as a left back? It looks like our club is in debt or something with how little money we spend on players. Only good big player we spent big money on this season was Tchouameni, I’m still in shock on how he was the only player we ended up buying. Barcelona is full on debt and look at how many good players they have bought. Our defense is definitely our weak point because of our LB and RB situation and rudiger is also overrated he plays with no brain and makes many mistakes. We also need to start looking for another striker that can replace benzema. Rodrygo sometimes plays as a striker when benzema isn’t playing and he’s a winger.
