I gotta admit that i wasn't a fan of Blackpink but i do like the individual members because of how well they've done their solos. Among everyone on that GG, Rose has really outdone herself on her solos because of how soothingly calm and soft her voice is. She may not be a strong vocalist but you gotta admit that the emotion is there and this is what most artists fail to showcase when doing covers. You don't need to hit high notes and be on pitch nor do you need to sound like the studio version every time. What carries a good live or a cover performance is the way you portray your emotions and feelings through the song not the other way around.
