If that dog was a horse he would be great hurdler. He just attacks those fences with so much energy he just leaps straight over. Funny as hell to see a little dog that good at jumping. He has so much energy he just attacks the jumps, like what a very good horse would do, in hurdles. The dog has no doubts at all, and he just clears them. So funny to see.

I love that these shows are not as stuffy as they were in the 90s. Back then, only rich people with full breed dogs were allowed to participate. The dogs were not allowed much fun. But now, they give the camera to rescue dogs which is always great. Rescuing from shelters is far more rewarding than encouraging puppy mills. Some breeders may be legit but mills are awful places where they treat dogs as puppy birthing robots and do not treat them right. Dogs are the most noble animals on earth and some people take advantage of their helplessness. To quote Mark Twain "heaven goes by favor. If it went by MERIT, you would stay out and your dog would go in".

Love these tournaments!!!! They should have this in the Olympics!!! On a sidenote isn't it a little unfair to have other breeds racing lurchers, whippets because they are naturally slower than them so no matter how good a performance a border collie gives but it still won't be enough because lurchers are super fast?

If you wanna make your dog run around the room. Grab the paws. And when you get his energy. Like cat hand playing with your cat. Like you are going to run but dont then flinch at the dog in a happy play. If he doesnt run grab the paws again

So grab a toy for the dog. Something he wont lose focus on. Grab his colar. And line up like you are going to run. Should feel it in your legs to pump him up...

I love it, but how is this competetive? You have team full of herding dogs and a team full of dogs build only for running fast, I mean. It's like asking a olympic swimming team to compete in a track relay race vs elite runners. It's never gonna be fair.
