Thank you so much for this posting of recordings made by Pilar Lorengar. She is one of my favorite singers. I had the privilege of hearing her at the Metropolitan Opera beginning in 1970. Most of the recordings here predate her international career and I’m so grateful to hear her in her youth. We are fortunate that the Spanish recording company recognized her talent and recorded her so frequently. Truly a treasure trove of rare recordings by this extraordinary artist.
