The refining system in itself is interesting, because you get rewarded for refining materials in cities of zones where those materials are not native. this bonus is noticable enough that people are making money by hauling resources from one end of the map to the other as the markets are local

The guy behind Maid Marian actually was the executive producer on that Payday mobile game for Overkill. I wouldn't expect any other man for the job lol

I'm probably in the minority of people who actively hate stories in MMOs. Story to me is synonomous with being forced to quest for 10-20 hours before I can actually play the game, and the leveling process in basically all MMOs these days is nothing but a prolonged and unnecessary tutorial in my eyes. One of the reasons why I think I hate it so much is that I've reached level cap too many times in my nearly 20 years of playing online games, and so it's gotten old. Gone are the days where the journey endgame was a part of the process, when getting to level cap or close to it would takes weeks or even months; now it's just an entry barrier. It feels like being at the level cap is the minimum requirement to start playing the real game. I play MMOs for the endgame activities and socialization, not for the world. I care about mechanics and progression, not why the pixels that I call my character are in that world.

Jedi Knight and Sith Warrior storylines are also phenomenal

Deepest lore, it is called Sherwood Dungeon not because it has anything to do with the story of Robin Hood but because Maid Marian is named after Robin Hood's love interest in a lot of versions of the story, Maid Marian.

Retro gaming where it's at

I don't remember all my characters of all my MMORPGS, but i still remember Ajax the Inquisitor, Teucraen the imperial agent, and Hectorian the Jedi Knight 😂 had a ton of great times in SWTOR. I always took the story as an interactive movie mostly and spammed Warzones and PVP. Definitely more fun with a good guild/clan

Honestly I would've gotten back to wurm if there were more cultural options (samurai, viking, etc styles for equipment). It'd fit with the general "Look how much of everything we have!" while opening the doors for players intrested in less popular stuff.
