You probably got better quality with the ikea cabinets you have to assemble rather than the preassembled Home Depot ones IMO.

hello Carissa, thank you for sharing 😊 Here in Portugal we don't use to fold the clean laundry in the floor, I use to make my bed and fold and separate the dry laundry on my bed and everyone pick their own and keep it. Your floors look exactly like mine. Are they Pergo? We have had really bad luck with our flooring (easily dented, shifting, nicks easy) even though I love the look of it. We had water damage in our home where the floors had to be replaced and previously had great flooring with Wilsonart. When they replaced it with Pergo, I was hoping for the best because it's a popular brand. But our floors have not held up well at all in the 3 years we've had them. We had our other laminate flooring for over 18 years and they were perfect, but because of the water damage, had to be replaced. Anyway, just curious if yours are Pergo, how long you've had them, and your experience.

"Emerson" and "Charlie"? Why? I don't get the obsession people have these days with bestowing masculine names upon their female children. You didn't get a boy, get over it. Having a girl is a wonderful thing, and girls do not need masculine names to be strong. Jeez this new age, I'm young (under 18) and often find that the maturity of the average adult is fairly low these days. No one willing to venture outside of the collective opinion and stand on their own principles, beliefs, and trends. I worry for humanity 🤦 But yes, the room is beautiful and very feminine. A complete juxtaposition to the names they were given.

I have a schedule that I try to stick to everyday that includes dailies (20 minute tidy, dishes, litterboxes, etc) and weeklies like cleaning the toilet, doing laundry(apartment with no washer/dryer) vaccuuming, etc . Having a schedule helps it to not pile up on me and it helps to make it not overwhelming. And if I fall a little behind I just pick up on the day that I'm feeling better because I know the things I missed will come back around again. Also organizing with the knowledge that it is not a one and done and you will have to re-organize as part of your chores is important.

lots of the pet hair will go away if you groom your dog or cat.It will help alot. Its worth the money to take them and have them groomed or brush them outside alot. great video. I also have slippers i wear to clean and mop

Slowly reorganising my house one room at a time, but I physically cannot clean every day because I have a back injury. I do however make sure the kitchen is spotless before bed and I pick-up as much as I can during the day while kids are at school. Do big/deep cleans on Sundays 😚
