I don’t know if there was a reason but in the face of it, it’s absolutely disgusting that Rolex wouldn’t even try to fix this watch

I didn't know you were a fellow Seattleite! I watch your videos all the time. How long have you lived in Seattle? Are you a sports fan?

Is there any worry about the torque spec when screwing in the screws? I know it's only very small but seeing you screw them in got me thinking

I Iam amazed that you have never done this type of movement before. You make it look so easy. I have been kicking the idea around of taking Mark Lovicks watch repair course. I think you just sold me on it. Thanks Marshall!

wow, truly fascinating video. the first time i’ve seen your stuff but i’ve always assumed that watchmaking was this kind of ‘nebulous’ subject that would be impossible to follow, but even to a layman such as myself it was fascinating and easy to follow what was happening. very nicely put together and a lovely thing to unwind to in front of the tv with a glass of wine after a genuinely horrible day. thank you for that

Subscribed, you do great work. You are very informative I feel I could possibly watch a video and break down a watch myself. 😆

Hello, I'm wondering if you might be able to help me. I'm thirteen years old and I enjoy watching your DE-film videos. You do a great job and are very interesting to watch. I recently inherited a Limes pocket watch with what I believe to be Cortebert movement. It isn't working and I recently was quoted over $400 to replace the main spring and cleaning. I'm wondering if you might be willing to take a look at it and see what you think? Maybe that's accurate but I really would like to get your opinion if at all possible? Thank you, Wyatt.

Marshall, you make the restoration process look so damn easy! I know you remove the parts and lay them on your bench, but are you using any articular method to ensure you put the right part back in the right place in the right order, or do you just do it by habit? When you first started, what system did you use? Like I said, you make it look easy.

Thanks I like the fact that you reverse thread first before you thread in the the screws. and I do dive with my Rolex, had it down to 200 feet doing a technical dive. 3 Bar ~90 feet under water

Do you ever revive quartz watches? You should make a video repairing a quartz watch.

Once again you trapped me into 54 minutes of a strange but extremely enjoyable meditative flow. The images and your voice did it again. I didn't plan for it but I loved every second. Much love and peace, thanks Marshall for you being you.
