Hey hey! My name is Marcus House and I like space stuff. I hope to make you like space stuff too assuming you don't already.
Eight years before I was born, Apollo 17 returned from the moon (1972). I sadly missed the most exciting adventure humans have ever experienced. Since I was young I've dreamed of being able to witness the next big milestone. We've seen no further manned missions outside Low Earth Orbit in my years, but this is about to change with SpaceX and Blue Origin pushing humanity back into the new space race alongside NASA. Other wonderful new companies such as Rocketlab are increasing the excitement with smaller payloads as well. This is an amazing time to be alive and I want to share all I can with you. Historically I'm a huge fan of Kerbal Space Program (KSP) which is where my DE-film channel started. KSP2 is around the corner, so we may well get back into that at some point soon as well.

I'm seeing the traditional news media having trouble interpreting SpaceX's development process. These media tend to emphasize what went wrong in their eyes, which typically comes down to things blowing up. While often totally missing the things that went right, and what progress was made. It is a shame that it is so. Context is everything, and now the general population might get the idea that SpaceX keeps failing all the time. Which they do, but failing is often also the fastest route to progress. We need to seriously redefine what failure is. Get rid of the negative connotation and emphasize the positive side.

Big red flag that a “starship” with 33(Masonic number) booster rockets is trying to punch through the firmament.
Vor 14 Stunden@TheDraggerPlay
that View at 5:30 of the clouds rippeling massively due to the shockwave is mesmerizing. does someone have a link to that viewpoint of the launch?
Vor 16 Stunden@nmkjcjjjc6278
Please keep reiterating the pads after this success! Congrats!
Vor 19 Stunden@prime2669
A magnetic hitch would solve all of those booster engine variations
Vor Tag@vk1pe
Stage 1 relit most of the centre engines just after hot staging. It was trying hard to burn and turn. Then, it burned too much!
Vor Tag@OneBiasedOpinion
I love the fact that SpaceX isn’t hoarding all of this footage. It shows both a confidence in the future of their company and product, and a desire to bring the rest of the world along with them on this whole quest for efficient and continuous manned spaceflight.

I'm inspired by the depth of this material. A book with akin themes provided a significant shift in my life. "The Art of Meaningful Relationships in the 21st Century" by Leo Flint

Im here trying to figure out how to explain to my brother that space exists because his dumbass thinks we hit the firmament because "the explosion looked weird" im just looking for the most detailed explanation of why it looked like that besides just different pressures lol

Can you talk a bit about Terran Orbital, their parent company was given 4 billion dollars about a year ago.
Vor Tag@JarppaGuru
what if ship v1 was better we cant know. or it was not supposed go orbit. NOW v2...testing testing. its 2024 soon.. moon and mars missions LOL. nope
Vor Tag@Jorhanbear
Do we understand that this idiot, Musk, can't even do a thing that was easily done in the 1960s....
Vor Tag@Jorhanbear
Total failure. This entire over priced boondoggle should be scrapped and we should go back to the damn shuttles...

So crazy to think the first stage blew up at the same altitude Virgin and Blue Origin peak at😂
Vor 2 Tage@wilsonst6044
why super booster get toasted after Starship rocket ignition even though it have separated?
Vor 2 Tage@YoutubeHandlesSuckBalls
Lol, reliability could hardly be worse, currently there's a 100% badaboom rate. Sure, they landed one second stage, once, but the only way is up.

NASA needs to get Boeing going! There needs to be a move away from SpaceX! SpaceX has become a monopoly in space ! Musk has proven he’s unstable and outright narcissistic! this is dangerous for everything space related!
Vor 2 Tage@TheFireMaker117
Dude I wonder what that explosion looked like in person because that was beautiful
Vor 2 Tage@ChrisBullock1978
the sound of the helicopter needs to go into account
Vor 2 Tage@sgtgiggles
I’m over SpaceX. They keep giving failed results and deeming them as “successful” for PR. No other rocket company does that and their engineers are coming forward and saying this thing is just paying their bills, there’s no hope in the rocket
Vor 2 Tage@samh-smith2931
This isnt just about mars... the output to LEO post starship will be astronomical in comparison to the rest of the planet combined. 😅
Vor 2 Tage@user-yj1co6nx7n
Hello Marcus A country located in East Asia claims that they can successfully launch a replica rocket of their reference starship within ten years. SpaceX's manufacturing testing process is very transparent, which may help them imitate success more quickly. It’s time to protect technological secrets, at least by not allowing webcams to film starship structural components. They can learn a lot from starbase webcam!
Vor 2 Tage@user-yj1co6nx7n
@@elonmuskceospaceX I can't reveal my location because I'm worried about getting into trouble. But I know them well. They often tell others that they are committed to realizing the liberation of mankind and want to realize the free and comprehensive development of mankind. These are all disingenuous lies. Don’t listen to what they say they want to do, find out what they have done and are doing. Not everyone wants to go to Mars to build a more civilized and progressive country. After some people obtain space technology, they may want to build a cross-planet slave empire.

Vor 2 Tage@sungoddogg
Why the f don’t they just put up a wall etc to shield these tanks from direct exposure to the rocket?
Vor 2 Tage@jeffreymartens2793
The heat shield tiles didn’t work well on the space shuttle and seem to be falling off of Starship. They need to invent a much more reliable heat shielding technology for safety purposes.
Vor 2 Tage@williamstock3007
Hey does anyone know if the larger v2 starship will mean that the moon mission will require less refilling launches?
