Live in Aurora and now know what that big Amazon building is. Also explains how I got my table saw so quickly.

I worked for Amazon. 3 Buildings. 1 was a Prime. The 2nd was a Sorting Center. Basically a Mail Sort Room. 3rd was a Large Sort building. Saw signs at the Prime for 500 Pick Rates. Stock was 300 when I was there. Single Pack was 90 units per hour. Basically one every 45 seconds. That included Assembling the boxes. Large Sort building I worked at was 75 Pack Rate per hour. Both also include Reloading Packing Supplies at the stations. Sorting was 200 units sorted per hour. Involved walking around with a hand scanner. Scanning and stacking on proper pallets.

thanks for providing this content. as someone not associated with british expansion it is a bit challenging to follow, though ultimately is understandable. i much appreciate the challenges of those on st. helena, and i wish residents well, though this piece does not address acceptance of all peoples. yes, i can appreciate that may not have been part of the initial approach, though as part of a minority, despite the words of the officials, it's tough to imagine the acceptance of my currency. it's frustrating to see most (though not all) officials appear to have european roots. especially concerning the history of st. helena, i find this concerning. that said, that you for bring attention to a location many are not aware of.

this video had a lot of good and accurate points. But, you should note that the riot control techniques you described are much less fearsome and effective then techniques of years ago: rubber bullets, horses, dogs, fire hoses , bayonets and, snipers (all to be used as legally permitted). You should closely examine whether those older techniques. As you note, these police were very "cautious" and "inexperienced" in riot control.

Easy solution: tax production of plastic. Higher production costs would make recycled plastic a viable option.
Vor StundeMona S.
I am interested in the intricacies of aluminum recycling. I always hear that it’s infinitely recyclable, but I wonder how easy or profitable it really is? And if it’s so much more sustainable than plastic, why don’t we just make the switch and make a true effort to eliminate the production of new plastic materials? I’m guessing the answer is what it always is: money.

The government should stop funding unprofitable businesses, like trains, bus companies are cheaper, more reliable and still profitable

plastic SHOULDN'T be profitable. accept it as a necessary societal cost and offset the cost by taxing companies and society

the simple short term solution is to tax companies equal to the difference in cost of virgin plastic and recycled plastic and they recieve a tax credit if they are using recycled plastic

Here are some data that can be found on the WEB. The US, in 250 years of foundation as a country, has fought against 29 sovereign nations; have grown 711 times the territory starting from the 13 original Colonies and have 800 Military Bases scattered throughout the world. The US have provoked Coups d'état; assassinations of government leaders, and, economic blockade of six nations. On the other hand, in 3,000 years of existence China NEVER invaded any other nation, and it has only defended itself by fighting internal wars, generally fostered by foreign interests. Do you know how many Military Bases China or North Korea have outside their territory? None. Zero. Does not have one. NADA! NOTHING! Neither China nor Korea have invaded any other country... Never! The US, like the Roman Empire, or like the Ottoman Empire, will one day fall and all bills will be charged with high interest. This will happen, believe it...

Just because nobody choose to attack, doesn't mean TSA has done their job. More likely, there just hasn't been any attack because that shit has only happened a few times in the history of airplanes. If anything I would credit the machines with 99% and civilians with the other 1%.

Can't believe the people that are giving the Chinese the benefit of the doubt. Of course it looks like they're doing good now, but they're soon going to be under full Chinese control. Not to mention, many governments in Africa are still plagued by corruption, even if they donate money and invest in some infrastructure - there's no guarantee that it'll actually reach the people that need it most. They're the ones being groomed to work in low wage sweatshops rn. This'll only stifle actual equal economic development, it's a shallow becon of hope that people want to have. Last I heard, the Chinese government itself isn't all that with actual human rights when in the prospect of comtrol and profit.

Furrhermore, Controlled flow will avoid flooding in neighbouring Sudan. Riparian countries should focus on opportunities than fears.
