First off, Martial your immense passion is felt and has carried u into some well deserved places and im very happy to see u be the face of this breakdown. Articulate and thorough as always, EA made a very good decision here bud...2nd: I am either being hyper-critical, delusional or am absolutely correct, but i dont see the differences in striking/ impact animations, maybe subtly. Its possible if i saw the same types of strikes being thrown on a split screen simultaneously, one side being UFC 4 and the other 5 of course, that i would notice differences. At face value, however, as of this moment, I see none. I cant help but be disappointed and the only major things i am looking forward to ( that have been revealed and have cognizant knowledge of) so far are the doctor stoppages, the new damage system ( admittedly looks very well done and engaging) and the 60 fps. Maybe some others are stuck in the back of my brain but nothing that is well formed. I am truly hoping that once i am behind my controller, playing this game and executing/ receiving attacks that i will be impressed and ultimately resign my current perception and opinion of this game. Everything evolves and im hoping my pessimism and critical view of this game thus far dissipates once i can play it first hand. I want nothing more than to be impressed. This game would require a major paradigm shift in order to be impressive imo and a helluva career mode, a lot of things on my career mode wishlist, but we will see 🙏

I’ve been playing since undisputed. And I’ve had my ups and downs with these games. But you’re telling me you made a next gen ufc game, and it’s identical to its predecessor? There’s more similarities than differences 😅. Not saying that improvements weren’t made, but I was expecting a completely different game. Not a ufc 4 update… just take me back to ufc 2😂 back when it played like fight night. All In all, this game is looking underwhelming. I’ve been excited for this forever now and now I’m going to have to go into it with extremely low expectations 😢

I got my hands on the beta and I I love ufc 5 it’s a huge improvement from ufc 4 TRUST ME. Only thing I feel like that would make this game a 10/10 EA is to add strikes after A KO on a grounded opponent instead of just having it only when you tko someone from the ground. AND PLZ ADD CAGE GRAPPLING EA ,like put sitting positions like how khabib use to have his opponents on the cage and this game would be a 10/10 ,I’ll rate it 8.5 but if u add things like I mentioned I FEEL LIKE THE GAME WILL ACTUALLY BREAK THE BANK in sales 💵💙
